Once Howland went up 14-0 in the first, they didn’t score again. Hubbard’s defense began to lock down and hold strong. The Eagles fought their way back into the game scoring two touchdowns to tie it up at 14. Senior Darnell Tate then scored on a 24 yard rushing touchdown in the 3rd quarter to give Hubbard their first lead of the game. A missed extra point would make it a six point game with a 20-14 score.
