The Hub

Abigail Hetmanski

  • Abbey Hetmanski is going into her senior year and entering the HUB for the first time. In her spare time, Abbey enjoys writing lyrics to songs and stories, but has never published any of them. She was contemplating on joining the HUB, but she is excited to be able to write and see if this is a possible career path for her in the future. She hopes her writing can catch the eyes of the student body and spark more interest in the HUB.

  • Abbey is continuing to be involved in ASL  and Drama Club and might join more extracurriculars her last year of high school. During football season, Abbey is going in her 4th year of being a part of Hubbard’s marching band in the percussion section playing the tenors. For this concert season, Abbey is a 3rd year member of the Wind Ensemble in the percussion section. Wind Ensemble takes part in many events varying from playing at Fairhaven’s annual basketball game to being the live concert band at Hubbard’s Commencement.

  • Abbey still wants to maintain her A average grades throughout her last year in high school. Even though Abbey is a senior, she still doesn’t know which path to take after high school. The college in her mind that she would love to apply to is The Ohio State University, being its her favorite college football team and her dad’s favorite school.
