Eloy Kim: Editor-in-Chief

  • Eloy Kim is a rising junior entering his second year as a HUB staff member. Eloy’s love for writing and investigative research led him to join the HUB, and he is excited to bring his talents alive on paper. He hopes to contribute to his high school by informing and captivating the Hubbard student body through his reporting on underdeveloped or speculative topics and intriguing events.

  • Eloy is involved in multiple student clubs, including the Spanish Club, Speech and Debate, and Academic Team. Eloy also earned varsity honors in both soccer and track, and he plans on returning to both sports this year. Other than his love for writing, Eloy also enjoys playing the violin. He is currently first violinist for the Youngstown Symphony Youth Orchestra, and he also plays weekly for his church.

  • Eloy has high hopes and ambitions entering his junior year. Other than maintaining high grades, he plans to score well on multiple college entrance exams. He also hopes to reach states on his debate team. Beyond high school, Eloy hopes for acceptance into Vanderbilt University to major in the liberal arts. Hope you enjoy reading his articles.
