The Hub

Jackie Adler: Sophomore Staff Writer
As she starts her sophomore year of high school at Hubbard, Jackie Adler is a first-year member of the HUB. Jackie has always enjoyed writing, especially writing about sports. She intends to show her interest in writing by focusing on the different activities Hubbard High School has to offer.

Jackie is enrolled in three honors classes: history, English and chemistry. She is also a two-year member of the Spanish and Ecology Clubs. Jackie also dedicates a lot of time to sports. She is a member of the girls’ varsity golf, basketball and softball teams. As a freshman, Jackie earned a varsity letter in all three sports. She was also named first team all-conference for golf. Jackie is has many different types of  friends and being involved in many activities expands her social opportunities.

Jackie hopes to graduate maintaining her present 3.9 GPA and receiving an honors diploma. She plans on attending college after high school, hopefully The Ohio State University. Even though she’s not sure of her major yet, Jackie would like to get into something involving sports. Jackie is excited and looking forward to writing for the HUB staff this year, informing the student body about important events that surround them.
