The Hub

Sophia Kimmel: Junior Staff Writer

  • As a junior at Hubbard High School, Sophia Kimmel is returning to the HUB as a second-year member. She is excited to continue improving her writing skills, and plans on using a wide variety of topics when writing this year’s articles.

  • Sophia is a part of the girls' basketball team, as well as flagline for the Hubbard High School Marching Band. She enjoys speaking for her fellow students as one of the four student representatives for the junior class in Student Council. She surrounds herself with doing things she loves and is always looking out for new opportunities.

  • Although unsure of her plans for after graduation, Sophia strives to maintain her 4.0 GPA throughout her high school career. Doing so would open many doors for whatever her postsecondary plans turn out to be. For now, she is excited to continue exploring this opportunity of journalism that the HUB provides in order to see where it takes her.
