The Hub

Taylor Pegg: Senior Staff Writer

  • A first year HUB member, Taylor Pegg is a journalist and a photographer. Taylor essentially joined the HUB because she enjoys writing and capturing photos to keep as memories. She will continue to build upon these memories while being involved with the HUB and the BARD staff. Writing throughout this year, Taylor hopes to gain knowledge about events outside of the classroom.

  • Taylor is currently taking 3 CCP classes that include: Chemistry, Algebra, and Writing I. She is also taking Spanish IV, Psychology & Sociology, and Yearbook. Taylor keeps her schedule busy. On top of her academics, she has a job and is a member of the Volleyball and the Track & Field team. She is also and active member of the following clubs; Spanish, Ecology, You Got A Friend in Me, Future Educators of America, Students Against Destructive Decisions, National Honor Society and Student Council. Taylor is the president of Spanish Club and Future Educators of America, and also the secretary of Student Council.

  • As Taylor is a 2019 graduate, she is planning to attend college at an as yet undecided university. It will be close, but not too close; she wants to live on campus but have the ability to travel home for holidays, birthdays, or just a weekend with family. Taylor plans on majoring in both Spanish and Sports Medicine. After graduating, Taylor would like to be accepted to medical school to obtain her medical degree. It is a dream for this senior to be a well-known Orthopedics doctor in both America and Spanish-speaking countries. Taylor is excited to see what the future has in store for her.
