September Rotary Students

Each month the Hubbard Rotary awards particular HHS students recognition based on their academic achievement along with other distinctions that make them stand out.  Let’s acknowledge our September students and all of their particular talents.

Rachel Bancroft is the daughter of John and Lora Bancroft.  She has two sisters: Amanda and Natalie. Rachel’s extracurricular activities include Show Choir, Prep Bowl, Drama Club, National Honor Society where she serves as Historian, and Solo and Ensemble.  She is also a pianist and a dancer. Rachel is a member of Victory Chrisitian Center and works at Pizza Works.  She plans on going to Youngstown State University to major in Pharmacy.

Nathan Moffitt is the son of Derrick and Autumn Moffitt.  He has one brother named Daniel. Nathan is in the Hubbard Marching Band and Wind Ensemble.  In addition, he is involved in Mock Trial and acts as a lawyer, SADD, Ecology and Drama Clubs, as well as National Honor Society.  He is currently working at the Hubbard McDonald’s.  Nathan would like to go to The Ohio State University for Pre-med and Psychology.

Abby Stein is the daughter of Patrick and Kathy Stein.  Abby has one sister, Hayly Stein who is a sophomore at Hubbard High School.  Abby was a member of Youth Leadership Mahoning Valley, a volunteer at Trumbull Memorial Hospital, a 2011 Rotary Youth Leadership Award Conference (RYLA) participant, and a Hubbard Public Library volunteer.  She is also President of the French Club, a Co-Editor of the Hub, and a member Hubbard Marching Band.  Abby is hoping to attend either Youngstown State University or Kent State for a major in nursing.
