Slow Second Half Dooms Eagles

Two straight wins.  It hasn’t been done all year, but there is a first time for everything, right?  However, Hubbard will have to wait until next week as they fell to Beaver Local at home on Friday January 11th with a score of 63-55.  Hubbard played a solid game for three of four quarters, but had a bad third quarter, that eventually gave Beaver Local a lead they never looked back from.  Hubbard definitely has something to build on from this game as they go on through the rest of the season.  Senior Jordan Thomson had his highest scoring game of the season with 22 points, and Sophomore Derek Kopanic continued his hot streak with his best varsity game to date, putting up 17 points which included five three-pointers.
